Kindness as a Medium of Interchange

I've been pondering how much time and energy is expended on the pursuit of money, and it occurs to me that (not that it isn't important to have an effective medium of exchange – I've worked on developing a local currency in Nevada County, Calif. a few years ago, for example) ... perhaps we might do well to focus on the optimum medium of interchange – kindness, unconditional acceptance, tolerance, or whatever we might want to call it... not that the label is particularly important... Imagine what our world would be like if kindness was practiced with as much passion as material ambition seems to be at present!
