Great Interview with James Barrett, author of Silent
Gospel

& VideoPermalink

My dear friend and colleague, James Barrett, author of The Silent Gospel, has a new interview by some other friends (Regina and Scott Meredith) whose work I admire at Conscious Media Network. In this interview, he covers lots of interesting material about heart wisdom and intelligence. One point that seems very profound, both literally and metaphorically, is that the human heart is autogenic, meaning that it drives all the other rhythms in the body, not the other way around - the heart doesn't get it's biochemical beating orders from the brain or anywhere else - IT is the source!

Women In Art animation
Thanks
to Charley and Dan for this amazing sequence of world class
"Women In Art". Now I want to
visit all the galleries to see all the originals;
lovely artistry morphing individual masterpieces
to create another integrated masterpiece with a
vivid sense of the divine feminine archetype ... a
perfect example of the eternal hologram being
greater than the sum of its (temporally sliced)
parts!
Dan Shaw - Silkscreens from SGDS
Thanks
to long time friend and colleague Dan Shaw for posting
a photo of some of his silkscreen
artistry, inspired in
part from images from my Sacred Geometry Design
Sourcebook. In addition to
making a nice rendition from the "Pentagram
Dodecahedron Fractal" on page 154, he also created
a lovely Escher-esque vertical banner from the
"Fishscale Grid" sequence on pages 53, 54, and 62.
Can't wait to see the t-shirts!

Adrian Rossiter's Excellent Geometry Gallery

If you
haven't already explored it, Adrian Rossiter has an excellent
gallery of geometric models and animations,
including polyhedra, tensegrity models, polyhedron
clusters, 17 types of polyhedron symmetry,
jitterbug, gear (very cool!) and torus animations,
zonohedra, geodesics, string art, octet trusses,
and more.
Natural pest control company
26May2007 08:43 PM SustainabilityPermalink
For over
a year, we've been using a natural pest control
company, Alpha
Ecological, which uses (to
the best of my knowledge) some benign (to plants,
animals and people) concoction based on crushed
crysanthemums. My understanding is that this
organic mixture is like a microscopic "barbed
wire" fence for ants, earwigs, etc. sprayed right
around the house. My preference is to "live and
let live", but when we had simultaneous invasions
of ants, earwigs and black widow spiders both
inside and outside (and resorted to spraying), it
was a relief to know of this healthier
alternative.
Toroidal Energy Source

Thanks
to Luke for sending me this interesting link
(SingTech) to what appears
to be yet another promising energy technology
(where geometry again plays an integral role). The
toroidal animation on the home page is a big clue
to where this might be going.

allowing me to taste (a few days ago), some
totally delicious imported Balsamic vinegar

Kepler's Inner Planets Crystal by Bathsheba
06May2007 06:37 AM Geometry-MathPermalink

Bathsheba Grossman has created another lovely crystal in her array of exquisite art... this one is a 3D model of Johannes Kepler's diagram of the inner planets, first published in his 1596 book Mysterium Cosmographicum. I'd love to see this first hand....

I created a POV-Ray model a while ago entitled "Homage to Kepler" which incorporates both the inner and outer solar system models.
Even at smaller print sizes you can see both the inner and outer models fairly easily. If you want a really close view, the print is available all the way up to 36" x 27". This early POV-Ray model was a precursor to my Martineau Solar System Series now being exhibited in at least 3 different venues on this planet.

I just
watched yet another a superb video presentation
(checked out of the RVML library: The
Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce with Wynn Free

I was
expecting it to be mostly about Edgar Cayce, then
(re)discovered that Wilcock (like me) is
passionate about sacred geometry. In this video, I
even saw a familiar image

I wasn't expecting to see; glad he found my POV-Ray model of the Platonic Solid dual relationships useful
Wilcock has compiled some wonderful and amazing material on his website. I've barely scratched the surface.

New website updates!
01May2007 10:58 AM Geometry-MathPermalink

MAJOR website changes today! Intent.com has moved to geometrycode.com and brucerawles.com...
Intent.com has a new steward/owner! We've had a number of offers over the years to buy our domain,
and recently 3 at one time! However, until now, none had the intent we wanted to go forward with that idea.
The new owner plans to create a website with new content for intent.com soon:
"a community site based on the ideas of exchanging information on wellness, helping the planet,
personal development, and other topics related to health, the environment, and personal expression."
Please explore our new websites! We'd love feedback. (See section 2 about our new email addresses for this.)
Also, PLEASE fix any links you might have on YOUR websites to intent.com. I have redirect pages in place
which should be around for a year, but now's the time to fix the links... THANKS! Thanks particularly to those
of you who have linked to our websites over the years. I'll be adding even more links to our new sites soon,
so please continue to send suggestions for sites that complement the work we're doing.
Here's the result of the "cattle drive" (still in progress) of moving about 12 years of web content to 2 newer sites:
I've moved all of the geometric (and related) content (from intent.com) to:
http://www.geometrycode.com/
Hopefully this new website will be much more accessible and navigable; you might even discover content
that has been there for a dozen years you just never realized was there!
CSS and SSI) will make it MUCH easier for me to maintain and enhance, so look forward to much more frequent
updates and additions going forward...
I'm moving everything else, such as my favorite books, movies, music, webcasts/radio, etc. and all the
New Frontiers of the Gold Country event archives (from intent.com) to:
http://www.brucerawles.com/
This latter effort is still in progress (just barely started, but I'll finish it ASAP, and I wanted to let everyone know early.
